Recycle for Rhea! (and any/all future sibilngs)

This will be a treat.... I am attempting to compose this blog post while playing Magna-Doodle at the same time. Rhea's latest favorite is having me draw on the Magna-Doodle and she erases it. Her frequent requests for me to draw are fish and a birdie (thanks Gramma, my birdie skills needs some help). I think she just likes running the little slider and watching the pictures disappear.

Anyways, the point of this post is to ask friends/family if you'd be safe a few items for us. I recently bought a 'busy book' for prechoolers and it is FULL of great ideas for activities/crafts/learning. The majority of the ideas can be done with simple household items (yay for the budget!)..... so I thought maybe we'd ask if anyone would like to help add to the "Dixson Education Station" stash (otherwise currently known as the China Hutch until I find a good space for our learning supplies). Here's a list of the items suggested, please DO NOT go out of your way for any of this but if you happen to think of us before you toss your milk jug, we'd appreciate the cap ; )

clean aluminum foil pieces, bottle caps, boxes (any size),
brown paper bags (any size), buttons, used candles/pieces,
catalogs with lots of pictures, chopsticks, clothespins, coffee cans & lids,
corks, eggs cartons, envelops (any size), fabric scraps, empty jars & lids,
felt, used greeting cards, milk jug lids, costume jewlery/clothes (for dress-up),
