New words!

Rhea is starting to learn new words! about one every other day. I think we are up to 15 total but I've kind of lost count. She does very well trying to imitate my sounds and syllables. The latest word is "puppy". Yes, I like to brag on her a little. She also knows where all her facial features are as well as hair, fingers and toes. We played outside for a while and I got a cute video since the neighbors dog was outside. The weather was just perfect and we still don't have too many bugs to worry about yet.

hmm... a little bit of supper left on our face :-)

yoga?

I bet you know what's coming...

crash!
(no tears tho, she's tough!)

Here's the video..

Great day with the Great Grandparents!!

Wanted to share a few pics and a video from our recent trip to Norfolk to visit Rhea's Great Grandparents. Our day really was GREAT! Rhea did very well for having very little sleep all day. We had a great lunch with Great Grandma Francis and Great Aunt Karen, followed by a visit to the farm house and then spent the rest of the afternoon and supper time with Great Grandpa Gary and Great Grandma Margaret. We cherish the time we were able to spend with those we love : )

Exploring on the farm. I imagine everything looks WAY bigger when you're her size.

Making 'duck soup' with Great Grandma Margaret.

Helping Great Grandma Francis call China ; )

And.... Uncle Matt got some ducks! So we had to go in and see them!!

She's our jumpin' girl!

Mommy has taken down the Jenny Jump Up, only because Rhea's knees hit the floor when she's in it. Must mean she is too big. We've been talking about trying to find a small exercise trampoline for her. New ones are too expensive. Well, we took a quick family trip to get the boat from Matt's place and he had the old trampoline that we used to play on as kiddos at my Grandma's house..... Sweet blessing!! I need to sew a new cover for the springs but I'm sure it will get lots of use!!

Saturday night we had our friends Valerie and her son Asher (20 mo.) out for supper and an evening spent out in the yard. Asher is an active little man; we ran a lot and kicked the balls all over the place. One of us adults had to play 'goalie' down by the dock most all the time. The neighbors got a kick out of us running after the balls. Only once did we have one get in the water. Anyways, here's a short video of Asher showing Rhea how to jump. [She was getting tired by this point, she had been moving a lot before I got the camera. She's got the motions down, just no vertical lift yet]
