Birthday Fun!!

Can't even express how true it is that time flies when you're having fun! The last year has whizzed by! Sometimes the days were long, but the months were short. I've found myself browsing through Rhea's baby pics and videos often lately. She's so sweet and precious!!

Currently she's working on pushing the last 2 molars through on her right side. I imagine it's very painful, she won't even let me feel them, she winces when I even touch her gums. But once those are in, we should get a break from teeth for a couple months, hooray! She picks up learning more and more each day, it's amazing really. She says "mom, dad, baby, boon (balloon)" she attempts "dog, cat, duck" but they all sound the same right now. We still read lots of books but she's got a few favorites. I have a set of foam letters we've started to introduce. They are in a gallon ziplock and she likes to carry the bag around and pull the letters out for me. I tell her what it is, sometimes she watches, sometimes not. I know it's early for the alphabet, but it can't hurt, right?!

Here are some pics from her 1st birthday party. We had a great time! After everyone arrived we each took a turn praying over her, then we ate and had cake, and then presents. Rhea wasn't real interested in the presents, she wanted to be in the other room playing with the other kids. Thank to all who were there!! We are tremendously blessed!!!!
